US Senator Joseph I Lieberman asked Pakistan to clean up all the terrorist camps to bring justice to the bloodshed attacks on Mumbai on 26/11. "The Pakistanis authorities know where the terrorists are and the location of their camps, all they require is to take strict action them", quoted Senator. Lieberman who held a hearing on the Mumbai terror attacks earlier in the day also alleged Pakistan to prosecute a strict trial on the organisation controlling these camps. Lieberman was in India soon after the Mumbai attacks and had met the leaders of the both the countries including the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"It is very important that the Pakistani government take actions so that no one can ever have any basis for charging or concluding that anyone in the Pakistan intelligence service has had contacts with terrorists," he said, adding "this is just unacceptable." Lieberman also asked President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to take immediate actions against the terrorist organisation.
Meanwhile, Pakistan National Security Adviser Mahmud Ali Durrani gave a statement admitting Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist of Mumbai attacks as Pakistan citizen. Later, Durrani was sacked by Gilani for his statement.
