Jitu Rai wins bronze in 10m air pistol event at ISSF World Cup

New Delhi: Ace India shooter Jitu Rai bagged bronze medal in the men’s 10m air pistol category in the ongoing International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range on tuesday.
The 29-year old scored a total of 216.7 points in the final round to finish third.
On the other side, Tomoyuki Matsuda from Japan won the gold with a world record score of 240.1 while Rio Olympic Games champion Vinh Xuan Hoang from Vietnam clinched silver with a total of 236.6.
Earlier yesterday, Jitu and Heena Sidhu had bagged gold in the 10m mixed team air pistol category of the ongoing event.
