Massive hunt launched to nab killers of BJP leader in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Mar 14 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara today said police had launched a major operation to arrest those behind the brutal murder of a Councillor and BJP leader in the city today.

Bommasandra Municipality corporator and BJP leder Srinivas Prasad alias Vasu was hacked to death by unidentified assailants when he had come for a morning walk today. Dr Parameshwara said it was not yet known wither it was a political murder and police were probing from all angles.

''The killing should not be politicised as the city has witnessed murders of Congress and JD(S) workers as well. We do not probe going as per the party identity and police are making a honest attempt to

arrest the culprits,'' he said.
