Turkmenistan Deputy PM and Foreign Minister to visit India
New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs announced on Saturday that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid O Meredov will visit India on a three-day trip starting Sunday, August 13.
During his stay in the national Capital, Meredov will hold meeting with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday. This will be followed by delegation level talks, according to an official source here. There will be also signing of the Protocol for the 6th Session of Inter Governmental Commission.
In the evening on August 14, Monday, the visiting dignitary will also hold a meeting with Union Minister of State (independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan. Meredov will return on August 15 at around 4:00 AM according to the MEA.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Turkmenistan in July 2015 as a part of combined visit to its neighbours visited Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
