Bengaluru, Mar 14 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara today said police had launched a major operation to arrest those behind the brutal murder of a Councillor and BJP leader in the city today.
Bommasandra Municipality corporator and BJP leder Srinivas Prasad alias Vasu was hacked to death by unidentified assailants when he had come for a morning walk today. Dr Parameshwara said it was not yet known wither it was a political murder and police were probing from all angles.
