Thane: A group of Shiv Sena activists, including a couple of leaders and a corporator, was assaulted in a bunglow at Yeoor Hills by six people, police said.
Police said that following the appointment of Manoj Karpe as the Upa Shakha Pramukh of the Manohar Pada, a group of around 10-15 shiv sainiks were having a get together at the bunglow of one Bharat Sherekar on the intervening night of January 25-26. The alleged accused barged in and picked up a fight with them around 3 pm.
