Jalanadhar: The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered two kg heroin and 65 gm opium from Punjab border.
RS Kataria, DIG BSF Punjab Frontiers, headquarters of the BSF, here said that the contraband was recovered during a special drive launched to smash drug racket at the border areas.
He said the contraband was recovered from the area under the BoP Telumal in Ferozepur sector. The heroin and the opium were recovered from a tractor during the search of the vehicle. It was hidden in packets by a farmer, identified as Jaswinder Singh, resident of Gandukilcha village.
